As a Housekeeper with Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will play a critical role in ensuring a clean and safe environment within our long-term care facility. Responsibilities
- Execute daily housekeeping tasks, including the cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures adhere to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests to provide exceptional customer service.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and effective communication skills with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, as well as push or pull similar weights; must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around cleaning products.
- Proficient in following both oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.
