We are seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions immediately.

Location: Ascension Borgess Hospital, 1521 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper, you will perform light cleaning duties in various establishments, including hospitals, to maintain cleanliness and order. Responsibilities encompass making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and common areas, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service through meticulous attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Clean carpets, rugs, and upholstery using appropriate methods.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Sanitize metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness in wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Rearrange furniture and amenities according to established guidelines.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Address housekeeping issues, such as spills and broken items.
• Contribute positively to team dynamics and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
