We are seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions immediately.

Location: Akron Children’s – 1 Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308. Please note that only online applications will be accepted.

Schedule: The part-time schedule spans Monday through Friday, with hours varying. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Job Summary:
The Housekeeper performs light cleaning duties to ensure that facilities such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality customer service by providing individualized attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean waste containers.
  • Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make beds and change linens as needed.
  • Realign furniture and amenities as per prescribed layout.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Address housekeeping challenges, such as spills and broken items.
  • Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
