We are currently seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions with immediate openings.

Location: MyMichigan Saginaw, 800 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Please note that applications are accepted online only.

Job Summary:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties to ensure that facilities, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Key responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, as well as vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service through meticulous attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and maintain cleanliness of trash containers.
• Dispose of trash in a hygienic manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Ensure beds are made and linens are changed as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities as per the prescribed layout.
• Address guest queries and requests promptly.
• Respond effectively to housekeeping issues, including spills and broken items.
• Collaborate with team members, demonstrating professionalism towards customers and colleagues.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
