Key Responsibilities of a Housekeeper:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of hotel operating procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of room types and standards for supplies.
- Assess the general condition of rooms and report any malfunctions or damages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, replenish supplies and amenities, and report rooms ready for sale to the front desk, adhering to hotel training and standards.
- Dust and clean all furnishings in guest rooms, including televisions, desks, chairs, lamps, air conditioning units, headboards, nightstands, wall decor, and window ledges.
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and the cleaning cart in a safe and presentable manner.
- Ensure prompt and systematic response to all guest requests.
- Effectively address guest complaints.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and all staff members.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain organization and thoroughness by preparing bedrooms within specified timeframes while adhering to internal hotel procedures.
- Submit requests for approval of any service rooms to the inspector or front desk.
- Wear the designated uniform and nametag.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and emergency procedures.
- Maintain discretion to avoid disturbing guests.
- Conduct laundry duties and clean public areas.
- Ensure personal cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications:

Physical Demands:
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upwards.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Tolerance for exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Endurance for prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Work Environment:
