Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center, situated within the picturesque Hocking Hills State Park, invites applications for the position of Housekeeping Attendant. This role can be tailored to full-time or part-time hours, depending on your availability.

Our Lodge is a newly established facility featuring 81 guest rooms, 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant and lounge, as well as banquet facilities capable of accommodating up to 200 guests. Further details about our offerings can be explored at www.GreatOhioLodges.com.

In the initial phases, Housekeeping Attendants will manage laundry services and the cleanliness of the 40 cabins on our property. As we prepare to open the Lodge, responsibilities will also include maintaining rooms, cabins, laundry, and public areas. Once operational, Housekeeping Attendants will have the opportunity to work in various roles, including room care, cabin maintenance, laundry, and public area upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across all areas of Housekeeping, including but not limited to Room Attendants, Laundry, and Public Areas.
  • Load housekeeping carts with the necessary supplies.
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to meet hotel standards.
  • Inspect rooms for safety hazards and assess equipment functionality.
  • Identify and report damaged linens.
  • Document lost and found items, as well as maintenance issues, and report them to a supervisor.
  • Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and attend to special requests.
  • Record room statuses on work assignment sheets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
