Job description:

To ensure a clean and pleasant environment for our guests, this role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest accommodations and public spaces. The position requires assistance across various departments, adapting to the dynamic needs of the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet and welcome guests, offering assistance and promptly addressing their needs with courtesy.
  • Clean and maintain corridors, guest areas, lobby, service areas, and linen closets.
  • Empty waste and linen bags from housekeeping staff.
  • Transport trash to the designated dumpster.
  • Deliver rollaway beds and cribs to guest rooms as requested.
  • Rotate mattresses following management’s instructions.
  • Stock necessary supplies in linen closets.
  • Vacuum public areas and corridors.
  • Mop vending machine areas and ensure cleanliness of the machines.
  • Regularly check and clean all public restrooms throughout the day.
  • Monitor and clean all elevators multiple times daily.
  • Assist with luggage handling as needed.
  • Strip beds and/or clean rooms when required.
  • Inspect lighting and replace bulbs as necessary.
  • Maintain outside grounds on a daily basis.
  • Aid in the unloading and storage of deliveries.
  • Complete assigned duties and confirm actions on shift checklists.
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
