The primary responsibility of the Residential HVAC Lead Installer is to deliver outstanding customer service while performing high-quality installations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive HVAC installation tasks, including equipment removal, installation of new units, duct repair/replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and refrigerant charging and recovery. Measure refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures) and calculate static pressure and CFM delivery. Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with inspectors, suppliers, and team members to ensure compliance with project requirements and all relevant codes.
  • Conduct basic diagnostics of HVAC systems as required.
  • After completing installations, review equipment operation modes with customers and provide detailed explanations on system features to ensure satisfaction and understanding.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPA universal certification
  • Prior experience in HVAC installations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and climb ladders

Compensation:

  • Hourly rates ranging from $25 to $37, in addition to a monthly performance bonus of $750 to $6,000, equating to an annual salary of $73,000 to $138,000.
