In this role, you will travel from store to store, working autonomously to ensure that the furniture display areas are maintained in a "showroom ready" condition at a prominent office supply retailer.

This is a part-time opportunity with the potential for additional assembly work. Hours may vary based on market demand, particularly in metro areas where more hours may be available. Our technicians primarily work weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Take inventory and identify missing items from the sales floor.
  • Secure displays to ensure customer safety.
  • Perform minor assembly repairs on furniture.
  • Clean and vacuum furniture pads.
  • Assemble ready-to-assemble furniture for display areas.
  • Report work progress via phone, tablet, or computer.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store managers.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • A basic tool kit may be required.
  • Daily internet access for reporting.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to take photos for reporting purposes.
  • Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend, and squat throughout the day.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
