Job Position Description:
This role is vital to creating cleaner and healthier spaces within our customers’ facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing all cleaning duties for facilities using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
  • Performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, collecting trash, cleaning windows, and moving furniture and equipment.
  • Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Opening and securing facilities, including enabling and disabling security systems as necessary.
  • Prior experience (1-2 years) as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is preferred, but not required.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in professional janitorial settings such as office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is advantageous.
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are essential.
  • Contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere through a pleasant demeanor and teamwork, including punctuality and adherence to uniform standards.
  • Respect for colleagues and customers is paramount.
  • Proficiency in English communication is required.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

  • Position requires constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and overhead reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
