Job description:

Medline has an immediate opening for a Lab Technician in Williamston, MI. The Lab Technician will conduct routine laboratory tests in accordance with documented processes, ensuring accurate data documentation as per good documentation practices, while maintaining general laboratory housekeeping. This role also involves providing technical support and effectively communicating scientific results.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, and stability in adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, identify malfunctions, and perform minor repairs or coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Review and update standard operating procedures as required.
  • Adhere to all protocols related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.
  • Review test data, calculations, and results for accuracy and completeness.

Required Experience:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Science, etc.).
  • Experience in a regulated industry.
