Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:

  • Sort linens and towels by type
  • Wash linens according to established protocols, including drying, folding, and ironing
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow all training protocols concerning bloodborne pathogens
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure the quality of all linens
  • Collect, transport, sort, weigh, load, and unload linens during processing, including use of washers and dryers
  • Keep the laundry machinery and area clean
  • Manage stock levels
  • Address guest service issues promptly and courteously
  • Provide additional laundry services as needed

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in safely operating laundry equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more
  • Capability to stoop and bend as required
  • Occasional ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
