Responsibilities:
– Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal garments.
– Operate laundry equipment with care and efficiency.
– Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
– Adhere to infection control and universal precaution policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
– Provide exceptional customer service through positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Previous laundry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
– Maintain a positive attitude while effectively communicating with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to fulfill daily responsibilities.
– Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
– Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds; capable of standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
– Must be comfortable working with cleaning products.
– Ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine and repetitive tasks consistently.
– Residency within the service area is required.
