Your Role as a Technician:
We empower our technicians to fully utilize their training:
- Conduct phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
- Monitor anesthesia
- Manage tech appointments and patient triage
- Assist in advanced procedures and therapies
Details:

- Hours: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm | Saturday 9am–2pm
- Schedule: 4 days/week, with rotating Saturdays (approximately every 3rd)

Responsibilities:
Major Duties:
- Administer in-patient medical care, including medication management, treatment assistance, diagnostics, and patient monitoring
- Prepare for anesthesia and surgical procedures while maintaining and sterilizing all relevant equipment
- Provide dental care and assist in dental surgeries
- Position patients for radiographic imaging
- Handle laboratory responsibilities, including sample collection, preparation, and result recording
- Prepare invoices, discharge instructions, and client educational materials
- Communicate with clients regarding hospitalized patients, providing updates and discharge protocols
- Educate clients about at-home care procedures
- Conduct Veterinary Technician appointments for therapeutic monitoring
- Assist doctors during outpatient appointments, ensuring smooth operations from check-in to discharge
- Help with reception duties as needed, including phone management and appointment scheduling
- Train and mentor new team members
- Oversee inventory control by notifying the inventory manager of low supplies
- Prepare prescriptions and medication refills
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) objects weighing up to 50 pounds; over 50 pounds with assistance
- Endurance for sitting, standing, and walking on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Sufficient ambulatory skills to perform duties within the hospital environment
- Capability to work in a noisy setting with moderate sound levels from animals and equipment
- Exposure to pets that may bite or scratch, as well as potential exposure to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and controlled substances
- Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity for using equipment and managing data
