Line and Prep Cook Duties and Responsibilities
As a valued member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering food that is not only fresh and visually appealing but also delicious and prepared to our members’ specifications. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that all ingredients and final products maintain optimal freshness.
- Preparing your workstation for efficient service.
- Following recipes accurately, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Employing various cooking techniques as required.
- Presenting, garnishing, and arranging final dishes to enhance visual appeal.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, particularly in handling food ingredients, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Properly handling and storing ingredients and food items to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
- Communicating effectively with the Food and Beverage team, both in the back-of-house and front-of-house settings.
- Disposing of waste in designated dumpster areas at the end of shifts.
- Standing for extended periods (4-8 hour shifts).
- Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Job Types: Full-time & Part-time
Pay Range: $13-$18 per hour, commensurate with experience and performance.
