The Avalon of Lewis Center is seeking a hospitality-focused Cook to become an integral part of our Community Culinary Services Department. This role entails hands-on cooking and production responsibilities while ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards at all times.
• Prepare and serve menu cycle programs in compliance with required nutritional and dietary criteria as stipulated by local regulations.
• Demonstrate efficient cooking practices with a focus on speed and accuracy.
• Exhibit thorough knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with meal service and dishwashing as needed.
• Engage with residents periodically to assess food service quality and make necessary operational adjustments.
• Represent the community warmly and invitingly, fostering a positive marketing environment.

Qualifications:

In addition, we are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $500 after 90 days of employment for full-time team members. Starting pay is $17 per hour.
