Job description:

We are excited to offer an opportunity at Anna’s House for a dedicated Line Cook at our Northland Drive location. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing unique and delicious meals that meet our guests’ expectations, while also assisting the Kitchen Manager with daily operations.

As a Line Cook, you will prepare, season, and cook menu items, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are consistently met. Your ability to efficiently manage multiple orders at once will be integral to providing exceptional guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items promptly and efficiently, collaborating effectively with the kitchen staff.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
  • Multitask by managing several orders simultaneously, adhering to guest specifications.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared concurrently, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
  • Prepare, wash, and cut foods for cooking, including tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Follow directives from the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness in your work station and properly store leftover food.
  • Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Uphold a professional demeanor with both coworkers and guests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school diploma is a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven cooking experience, ideally as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
