Job Description
Job Title: Line Cook
Company: Homestead
Location: Southfield, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a Line Cook in Southfield, MI, is generally considered competitive but slightly below the average for the region and industry. As of recent data, line cooks in Michigan typically earn between $15 and $20 per hour, with some higher-end establishments offering more. Given the cost of living and demand for culinary professionals, this rate may attract applicants, particularly those with less experience, but may not be sufficient to retain experienced cooks, especially in a competitive job market. Overall, while it’s on the lower end of the spectrum, it still offers potential for entry-level candidates.
