CAMERON MITCHELL RESTAURANTS is seeking a LINE COOK to join our dynamic team.

Summary: We prioritize our Associates, who bring a positive attitude, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to the workplace. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing a diverse range of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. Key responsibilities include washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes. Furthermore, you will carve and slice meats and cheeses while accurately measuring and mixing ingredients to create salad dressings, sauces, and both hot and cold food items following established recipes.

Essential Functions of the Position Include, but are not Limited to:

  • Arriving on time as per the work schedule, with a uniform that meets restaurant standards and is kept clean. Practicing positive personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout all shifts.
  • Preparing all food items in accordance with company specifications, recipes, procedures, and quality standards to ensure our guests enjoy a superior dining experience.
  • Implementing proper food safety techniques during handling and preparation, including personal hygiene practices, hand washing, use of gloves, and knife skills.
  • Being knowledgeable about emergency procedures for the restaurant.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness across the work area, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving.
  • Completing all assigned tasks while adhering to safety guidelines and procedures throughout the shift, and reporting any unsafe conditions, acts, accidents, or injuries immediately.
