Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tank wagons and tractor-trailers, adapting to daily assignments as required.
- Work up to six days a week, based on operational demands.
- Ensure the safe transportation of liquid bulk materials to and from local customer locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee safety and regulatory compliance.
- Load and unload materials from tanker trucks, utilizing hoses or pumps while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, inspection logs, and documentation of any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Contribute to operational success by meeting required mileage or hours.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Required Tanker Endorsement (N)
- Hazmat Endorsement (H) preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire; assistance provided)
- TWIC Card preferred (or must be obtained post-hire)
- Minimum of one year of verifiable tanker driving experience
- At least 23 years of age
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record and a strong safety history
- Capability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Dependability, safety-consciousness, and the ability to work independently
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations as needed
