PURPOSE/SCOPE:
This role is responsible for rebuilding, overhauling, inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various industrial and facility-related equipment. While the position primarily supports an assigned shift, flexibility in working hours is essential to meet business needs.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regularly scheduled preventive maintenance inspections on all industrial production and facility-related equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across all industrial production and facility-related systems.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, work orders, and related activities.
- Execute general maintenance work orders efficiently.
- Provide oversight and support for external contractor resources and monitor their performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace through regular housekeeping and 5S practices.
- Exhibit self-motivation to manage projects from initiation to completion under general supervision.
- Primarily cover first shift responsibilities, with occasional on-call duties during nights and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
- Assist with janitorial tasks as required.
- Serve as a backup for the maintenance supervisor when needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in maintenance or fabrication.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Arc, with both steel and aluminum.
- Skilled in machining with experience operating lathes and mills, as well as specialized tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to fabricate jigs and fixtures.
- Electrical knowledge, including the use of multimeters and computers.
- Familiarity with basic plumbing and copper air lines.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong commitment to adhering to safety regulations, with a focus on prioritizing safety-related work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
- Competent in operating forklifts and maintaining licensure.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent walking, climbing ladders, and using personal lifts at heights of up to 35 feet.
- Ability to lift supplies and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Comfort working in tight spaces to perform maintenance tasks.
REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL & BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of concentrating on tasks and making decisions calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.

We offer a competitive base salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $42,700 to $64,100 annually. This salary range is based on good faith estimates and may be adjusted according to the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, as well as considerations for internal and external equity.
