Job description:

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.00 and includes a $1,000.00 retention incentive. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience in housekeeping, lawn care, and equipment maintenance. This position functions as a one-person maintenance department, responsible for all aspects of maintaining and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our 26-unit Affordable Living Community. The ideal candidate will be professional, responsive, and reliable, as residents depend on your expertise.

Responsibilities include maintaining the community and grounds, responding to work order requests, and ensuring a safe environment for staff, residents, and visitors. This role entails on-call duties for weekend and holiday emergencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained for the comfort and safety of those we serve, offering recommendations to enhance service quality.
• Respond to and repair items on work order requests with minimal assistance.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment and plumbing while documenting necessary updates.
• Execute unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
• Conduct internal housekeeping and external groundskeeping tasks, including lawn care and snow removal.
• Prepare and clean vacant apartments/rooms.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and submit orders to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of general maintenance experience preferred.

Additional Work Requirements:

• Availability for "on-call" duty may be required.
• Extended hours, weekends, and evenings may be necessary.
