Job description:

This position will manage all aspects of athletic ticketing operations, provide support for on-site and off-site athletic events, and assist with scheduling, technical troubleshooting, and game operations. The role includes supervising student employees and contract workers while ensuring the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of all athletic facilities and equipment. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all online and box office ticketing operations, coordinating with external vendors and athletic teams on complimentary ticket requests.
  • Manage ticket sales reports and financial breakdowns for all home athletic events.
  • Assist with administrative management for game days of on-site and off-site events.
  • Aid in the planning, preparation, and execution of assigned internal and external events.
  • Schedule the use of all athletic facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide both administrative and hands-on support in preparing for practices and games/events within the athletic department.
  • Coordinate all internal and external camps hosted at the student center and athletic facilities.
  • Ensure preseason facility and equipment checks are conducted before each season.
  • Monitor and maintain the technical systems, equipment, and overall appearance of facilities.
  • Manage daily operations of the Student Center and assist with Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex operations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot sound systems, scoreboards, and other technical equipment.
  • Organize and oversee repairs and maintenance of equipment, including setup, storage, and replacement plans.
  • Procure backup systems for parts, gear, accessories, and other equipment.
  • Perform and supervise specific athletic field and grounds care tasks.
  • Support the hiring, training, and supervision of student staff to ensure adequate staffing for events and facilities.
  • Adhere to and understand all relevant external and internal regulations, including NCAA and GLIAC guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, anticipating and meeting the needs of our patrons.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to the position.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; self-motivated with strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Capacity to handle emergencies effectively and calmly.
  • Proven proficiency with computerized data systems and technical equipment.
