Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team at the Nutritional Products facility in Ada, Michigan. The Night Team operates from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday night through Wednesday night. In this role, you will be integrated into a collaborative team environment, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the plant’s operations.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will have the opportunity to explore various functional areas, including blending powder drink mixes, operating automated packaging lines (such as canisters, sticks, and pouches), facilitating warehouse operations, conducting quality assurance testing, and maintaining clean and sanitized equipment. You will also play a key role in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations by accurately completing and maintaining all required documentation.

As you progress in your career, you will have the opportunity to train fellow team members on established protocols and offer constructive feedback through peer reviews. This role also includes a well-defined career progression pathway alongside a robust skill development system, enabling multiple avenues for promotion.

Please note: The facility handles products containing various food allergens, including but not limited to milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat/gluten, fish, shellfish, and eggs.

Required Qualifications:

Associate Technician

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 0-50 lbs
  • Proficient in English, capable of reading, speaking, and writing to comprehend instructions, SOPs, and safety notifications
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate GMP and FDA regulations effectively

Manufacturing Technician

  • All the above qualifications, plus:
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, troubleshooting, repairing equipment, or working in a cGMP environment
