Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Guest Service & Hospitality: Deliver a warm, friendly, and professional dining experience by greeting guests upon arrival, accurately taking orders, and ensuring all needs are met throughout their visit.
- Food & Beverage Expertise: Exhibit a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, specials, and alcohol service protocols.
- Order Accuracy & Efficiency: Promptly take and deliver food and beverage orders, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Multi-tasking & Organization: Efficiently manage multiple tables while ensuring smooth service, clearing, and resetting tables for new guests. Maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
- POS System & Cash Handling: Process payments and close checks accurately while adhering to company and security protocols.
- Cleanliness & Compliance: Follow food safety and hygiene regulations meticulously, maintain an orderly service area, and comply with all alcohol and food handling certifications.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to remain standing for extended periods, lift and carry items weighing between 20-50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanor when engaging with guests and colleagues.
- Must obtain and maintain any required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler’s Card) in accordance with state regulations.
