About The Team
CoverMyMeds is a prominent healthcare organization dedicated to the ethical and responsible use of data. We take pride in our commitment to adhering to data protection regulations, privacy policies, and industry best practices. We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management Analyst to join our team and provide expert support in implementing and developing our data quality management program. As part of the Data Governance team, you will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and consistency across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do
As a Master Data Management Analyst, your responsibilities will evolve with business needs, but here’s a glimpse into your key duties:
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document data requirements, ensuring master data aligns with user and system needs.
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of master data domains to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Oversee governance policies and standards related to master data creation, maintenance, and quality.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for business users on MDM processes, tools, and standards.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and partners effectively.
- Regularly evaluate MDM processes, tools, and policies, offering recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure master data management processes comply with relevant regulations and uphold data security standards.
Candidates must be based in the metropolitan area of Columbus, OH. This position primarily allows for remote work.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent experience, typically requiring 4+ years in a relevant field.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, computer science, or another data-related field.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Critical Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years in a role focused on data management or master data management, with proven experience using MDM tools (e.g., Ataccama).
- Over 4 years of experience with MDM concepts, data architectures, database management systems, and ETL processes.
- Proficient in databases such as Databricks, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc., with advanced SQL capabilities.
- Ability to design, implement, enrich, and maintain scalable master data models accommodating various data types.
- Expertise in identifying, rectifying, and preventing data quality issues; capable of analyzing complex data sets and deriving actionable insights.
- Knowledgeable in techniques for integrating data from diverse sources to ensure a single version of truth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical topics to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Ataccama.
- Certifications in Master Data Management or Data Governance.
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects while managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
- Understanding of organizational business processes to optimize data flows.
- Familiarity with industry-specific data regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Knowledge of data privacy frameworks and risk management practices.
- Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions and integrations.
- Familiarity with data cataloging tools such as Alation or Collibra.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or R.
