We are hiring for the 2nd Shift!

As a MedTech, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administering medications as a primary responsibility, along with providing hands-on care for each resident.
  • Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly communicating findings to a supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections to residents based on their medical charts.
  • Assisting residents with repositioning according to their schedule.
  • Adhering to procedures for documenting medication administration.
  • Exercising sound judgment in providing care and ensuring resident safety.
  • Supporting fellow team members in their responsibilities.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Assisting with meal trays and helping residents with dining.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Age requirement: 18 years or older.
  • Experience in medication administration and working with seniors is essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
