As a MedTech, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and dignified care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulating.
  • Administering medications as a primary duty while providing hands-on care to each resident.
  • Maintaining cleanliness within the living environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Monitoring and assessing changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating findings to your supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections as indicated in medical charts.
  • Following established schedules to assist with resident repositioning.
  • Adhering to documentation procedures related to medication administration.
  • Exercising sound judgment in delivering client care and ensuring safety.
  • Collaborating with team members to support their responsibilities.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting accurately.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with eating.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Prior experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
