We are currently seeking Medication Technicians (Med Techs) who will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care and support to our esteemed residents. As a Med Tech, your responsibilities will include:
– Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Administering medications and injections as per physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
– Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
– Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
– Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any updates to the supervisor.
– Following the care schedule to assist residents with repositioning.
– Accurately documenting medication administration procedures.
– Exercising sound judgment to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
– Supporting team members with their responsibilities as needed.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs in a timely manner.
– Assisting residents with meal trays and during mealtimes.
– Undertaking additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
