This is a part-time position where you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Administering medications and injections in accordance with physicians’ orders documented in medical records.
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
– Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
– Monitoring residents for any changes in their conditions and promptly communicating updates to the supervisor.
– Following established schedules and assisting residents with repositioning as needed.
– Accurately documenting medication administration as per established procedures.
– Exercising sound judgment to ensure the safety and well-being of residents while providing care.
– Collaborating with team members to support their duties as required.
– Responding promptly to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
– Assisting with meal trays and supporting residents during meals.
– Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
