Job description:

When patients arrive at our outpatient physical therapy center in Avon, we strive to ensure they have an exceptional experience starting at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient and business aspects of our center. Your contributions will significantly impact each patient’s care experience, beginning before they even leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients, providing them with information about what to expect during their visit and details regarding their next appointment at checkout.
  • Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with various parties, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and our business development team.
  • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
