Job description:

When patients arrive at our outpatient physical therapy center in Westerville, we strive to ensure that they have an exceptional experience, starting from their first interaction at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient-facing and administrative aspects of our center. Your contribution will significantly enhance each patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients while providing clear information about what to expect during their visit and details regarding their next appointment upon checkout.
  • Schedule patient appointments both in-person and via phone.
  • Maintain regular communication with key parties, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
  • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • At least one year of customer service experience.
