Job description:

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Columbus, we strive to provide them with an exceptional experience, beginning at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient experience and the business operations of our center. Your contribution can significantly enhance each patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients, providing them with information about what to expect during their visit and details regarding their next appointment at checkout.
  • Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain regular communication with various parties, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
  • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:
Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • At least one year of customer service experience.
