We are expanding our team in Dublin, OH, and currently have multiple openings for Medicare Sales Agents. In this inbound call position, you will receive a competitive base salary, with bonuses tied to your sales performance. Your role will involve consulting with customers regarding their insurance needs and guiding them toward the appropriate coverage, products, and benefits. Our comprehensive training program will prepare you for your responsibilities and will include support in obtaining the necessary state insurance licenses, which are not required prior to starting your role. All new hires must successfully complete the UHC Portfolio Agent New Hire training classes and demonstrate proficiency in the material.

Work Schedule:

  • Operating hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM local time. Your shift will be assigned during training, with rotational weekend work.
  • This is a full-time position requiring flexibility according to the seasonal demands of our business.

Work Location:

  • Kickstart your success by engaging in our onsite training program, which lasts for 6 to 10 weeks and follows a standard day shift.
  • Upon successful completion of training and the on-the-job nesting period, employees have the opportunity to work from home up to three business days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from prospective members, identifying their needs and aiming to convert callers into qualified leads and sales.
  • Follow up with members regarding inquiries or to discuss current and new products and services.
  • Efficiently navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while maintaining active listening and engagement.
  • Exhibit knowledge of the product portfolio by addressing member needs, explaining differences between products, and assisting in their product selection.
  • Aid in the completion of enrollment applications over the phone, ensuring consistency with product requirements and enrollment guidelines.
  • Achieve established goals concerning performance, attendance, and consumer experience.
  • Maintain compliance with requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • As a licensed agent, your total compensation is contingent on your sales performance and customer service excellence.
  • Compensation consists of base pay plus a monthly sales incentive.
  • Average annual earnings range from $50K to $65K, driven by base salary plus sales commissions, with top performers earning $80K or more.

Required Qualifications:

  • Capacity to adhere to regularly scheduled shifts during the training period, with flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to our Dublin, OH office.

Preferred Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $24.04 per hour based on full-time employment.
