Job description:

Our client, a distinguished financial institution, is seeking a Member Services Specialist to join their esteemed customer service department. In this role, you will provide support to our valued members and contribute to an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to personal integrity, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s values.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee account openings and closures, with a focus on learning procedures for trusts, powers of attorney, estates, and business accounts, while reviewing online membership applications.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Assist members with safe deposit box services.
  • Process wire transfers efficiently.
  • Support customers in resolving account issues and educate them on credit union products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Availability for full-time work with a schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, including some flexibility between 8 AM and 5 PM.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in business or customer service.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
