Role Summary
The Team Member is essential in cultivating a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Providing tours to prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude is essential.
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
