Role Summary

The Team Member plays a crucial role in creating a positive experience for members by delivering outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phones warmly and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Processing necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
    • Contributing to the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive demeanor.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, exceeding their expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Display diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
