Role Summary
The Team Member plays a critical role in enhancing the member experience by delivering outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring they receive exceptional customer service.
  • Perform front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Assisting with updates to members’ accounts as needed.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as required.
    • Contributing to the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
