Perform night audit operations to maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with hotel standards. Collaborate with various departments, including Security and Housekeeping, to guarantee a high-quality service experience for all guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to detail revenue, covers, waiters’ fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
  • Generate audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and computer.
  • Address corrections and adjustments, resolving any computer issues encountered during the shift.
  • Input revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to produce daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain organized files, and reset systems for the following day’s operations.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and consistently be available for work.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous hotel experience is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key.
  • Proficient in effectively addressing guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Capable of accessing and accurately inputting information using moderately complex computer systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style for various audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
