BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:

In this role, you will perform all front desk functions, including but not limited to checking guests in and out, promoting sales-related programs, and maintaining guest records and cash handling. You will be responsible for auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, running reports, and confirming the accuracy of information. You may also assist with breakfast setup, which could include food preparation, service, and cleaning. As the sole team member on property for most of your shift, you must be able and willing to work independently while ensuring guest safety and security during overnight hours.

You will ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, and friendly service in a professional manner. Promptly and efficiently respond to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 service attitude. Contribute to a positive work environment for our diverse team and guests.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

This position requires the ability to take written and verbal directions, speak English clearly, and read English fluently. You should relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner, fostering a hospitable environment. Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently are essential.

A thorough understanding of Drury Hotels’ policies and procedures for guest services is required. You must be able to handle money, make change, and utilize office machines in day-to-day activities. Maintain the front desk lobby area in a clean and organized manner and comply with the hotel’s safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for yourself, team members, and guests. You must be willing and capable of working alone when scheduled, as you may be the only team member on the property during your shift.
