Job description:

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Bartenders to join our Premium Suites team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, home of the Cleveland Guardians. As a Bartender, your primary responsibility will be to serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Please note that this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed does not account for potential tipped earnings. The hourly rate is $14.00.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill drink orders from guests and servers, process payments, and provide accurate change.
  • Prepare mixed drinks according to established recipes and standardized proportions.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, verify guest identification, and comply with all relevant alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Accurately complete sales and inventory reports.
  • Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and other supplies.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant is required.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and credit card processing is necessary.
  • Previous experience with a computerized point of sale system is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift stock weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during peak times.
