Team Member

We are seeking a part-time Member Service Representative (MSR) who is available to work evenings and weekends. Role Summary
The Team Member will play a vital role in enhancing the member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests with outstanding customer service.
  • Manage all front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as needed.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally; escalating issues to Assistant Manager or Manager when required.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A background in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and co-workers, surpassing expectations.

  • The ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
