Job description:
Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying the principles of customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained in various store areas to support business needs.
- Role models established customer experience practices with both internal and external customers.
- Supports and fosters a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately processes customer purchases and returns, providing correct change according to established procedures.
- Promotes credit and loyalty programs actively.
- Maintains the merchandising philosophy and adheres to established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Upholds organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and contributes to the overall maintenance of the store.
- Accepts and provides recognition and constructive feedback.
- Complies with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Supports and participates in store shrink reduction initiatives and programs.
- Engages in safety awareness to maintain a secure environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
