Job description:

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience within a collaborative team environment as a Cashier or Stocker. As a valued member of our team, you will operate registers and other machinery, stock shelves, maintain an inviting store atmosphere, and provide excellent service to our customers. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $17.50 | Year 3 – $18.00 | Year 4 – $18.00 | Year 5 – $19.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.

• Participate in inventory counts in accordance with company guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and properly rotate products to ensure customers have access to fresh merchandise.
• Implement merchandising planograms to create appealing product displays.
• Organize incoming inventory and manage empty box disposal.
• Operate machinery while strictly adhering to safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate the store.
