Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a valued team member, you will operate registers and other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store presentation, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $18.00 | Year 3 – $18.50 | Year 4 – $18.50 | Year 5 – $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:
– Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
– Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
– Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general operational issues.
– Participate in store inventory counts according to established guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy.
– Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Stocker Responsibilities:
– Stock shelves and ensure proper rotation of products to guarantee freshness.
– Follow merchandising planograms to create well-organized and visually appealing displays.
– Organize new inventory and appropriately remove and break down empty boxes.
– Operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
Physical Demands:
– Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
– For Stockers: Ability to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelving; capable of lifting products up to 45 pounds and placing them on shelves at various heights.

– High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
– A combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
