Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. In this role, you will operate registers and other equipment, ensure shelves are stocked, maintain the store’s appearance, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $18.00 | Year 3 – $18.50 | Year 4 – $18.50 | Year 5 – $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:
– Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and strategically stock shelves and displays.
– Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with their experience.
– Provide management with feedback concerning products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general issues.
– Participate in inventory counts per guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.
– Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Stocker Responsibilities:
– Efficiently stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness.
– Follow merchandising planograms to create well-organized displays.
– Organize new inventory and responsibly manage packaging waste.
– Operate machinery while adhering to all safety protocols.
Physical Demands:
– Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
– Stockers must be able to move merchandise from receiving areas to shelving and lift products weighing up to 45 pounds to various heights.
