Job description:

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as a Cashier or Stocker. As a valued team member, you will operate registers and other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store presentation, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $19.00 | Year 3 – $19.50 | Year 4 – $19.50 | Year 5 – $20.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and maintain organized merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers throughout their shopping experience.
• Provide valuable feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts according to established guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure availability of fresh merchandise for customers.
• Follow merchandising planograms to create exceptional displays.
• Organize new inventory and manage disposal of empty packaging.
• Operate machinery responsibly while adhering to all safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
• Stockers must be able to stock merchandise from the receiving area to shelves and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
