Job description:
Nino Salvaggio is currently seeking a Party Planning Associate/Curbside Shopper for our Clinton Township location.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and services featured in Nino’s Party Planning Guide.
– Demonstrate knowledge of menu planning, including factors influencing menu choices, common food pairings, typical portion sizes, required quantities, wine pairing suggestions, and ancillary items such as flowers and balloons, as well as rental or food preparation equipment.
– Utilize Nino’s Party Planning Order Entry software effectively.
– Ensure meticulous follow-through and follow-up on all Party Planning Guide/Catering orders, guaranteeing accuracy and quality from initiation to delivery coordination.
– Collaborate with various complementary departments (e.g., Floral, Wine, Bakery, Produce Prep, Deli) to fulfill customer orders and requests.
– Execute Fresh to Go services proficiently, including e-grocery ordering, efficient shopping processes, grocery bagging, and proper storage until delivery.
– Adhere to established procedures for communicating product substitutions to customers.
– Deliver an exceptional Fresh to Go experience by ensuring order accuracy, timely fulfillment, and prompt delivery.
– Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, assisting customers with their orders, answering inquiries, and making appropriate suggestions.
– Stay informed about products available in all departments, particularly Gourmet to Go.
– Replenish Party Planning Guides and supplemental materials throughout the store.
– Attend and successfully complete Responsible Alcohol Sales training, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
– Operate the cash register and manage customer payments as necessary.
– Maintain organization by following established systems for organization, filing, and any necessary cleaning tasks.
– Demonstrate professionalism and composure while multitasking and working under pressure.
– Carry out deliveries to customers.
– Perform additional duties as required, including supporting other departments.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
– Previous experience in event planning is desirable.
– Prior cash handling experience.
– Reliable transportation is essential.
– Background in sales and customer service.
– Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and goal-oriented follow-through.
– Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– A clean driving record is required.
– Ability to regularly bend, lift, and/or move up to 25 pounds.
