Job description:

Responsible for the timely and precise delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers, in alignment with customer demands and the specifications of the assigned route. The role involves preparing doses for shipment, packing cases, sanitizing doses, and loading and unloading containers while adhering to established safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Schedule

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, typically from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  • Participation in a weekend rotation (weekend hours are from 4:30 AM to 8:30 AM, approximately every four weeks)
  • Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to accommodate various days, schedules, hours, or overtime as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer orders along the designated route using a company vehicle (non-CDL)
  • Package radiopharmaceuticals for shipment, conduct necessary testing, and manage container loading/unloading
  • Utilize a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy and to obtain route stop information and navigation guidance
  • Process returned packages from customer locations
  • Maintain vehicles in optimal working condition and perform minor roadside repairs when necessary
  • Assist with general facility cleaning and other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Minimum age of 18 due to operation of company-owned vehicles
  • Previous experience in delivery driving is advantageous
  • Ability to manage weights of up to 75 pounds
  • Vendor credentialing may be required
  • Comfortable driving in varied weather conditions during daytime or nighttime hours
  • Capacity to sit, stand, and operate a vehicle for extended periods
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotation
  • Proficient in using computers and tablets
