Job Title: Police Cadet

Company: City of Auburn Hills

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Pay: $17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $17 for a Police Cadet in Auburn Hills, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the scale when compared to similar roles in law enforcement across the region. Typically, Police Cadets can earn between $15 to $25 per hour depending on various factors including the specific department, level of funding, and the local cost of living. In Michigan, especially in urban areas, some cadet positions may offer higher wages due to competitive recruiting practices. Therefore, while $17 may be acceptable for entry-level positions, it may not be competitive enough to attract candidates in a tight job market or against roles with more beneficial compensation packages, including benefits or educational incentives.
